Large symbol, probably the sign of the Bagratid family, in center flanked by initials of Queen Georgia and her second husband David Soslan in Mtavruli letter; in four corners, 'koronikonsa 420' ('in the year 420' in Georgian); below, countermark. Rev. 'Queen of queens / Glory of the World and Faith / Tamar, daughter of Giorgi / champion of the Messiah' (in Kufic) in four lines; to lower right, countermark. Bennett, 175. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
